So...I'm a little confused. What is this Valentine's Day thing? It sounds like a holiday or a special day or something like that...is it fun?

And why does somebody need to dress up fancy for a dance? Doesn't that sort of make it hard to dance? I know that when I dance, I don't wear anything fancy because I don't want to ruin my good dress or have it get in the way...

...And what does Valentine's Day have to do with dancing? What else is supposed to happen?

Oh! And I have a brand new friend living with me here. Pascal really ended up liking him, which I think is because he's warm and soft and Pascal sized...and he's not dangerous, so he's with us now! His name is Ishamel. He's the rabbit that got in here a few days ago, and he's very sweet.

No, I haven't been asked to the dance...I didn't know I needed to be asked.

Well, I don't think y' need t'be, I jus' mean if someone asked if you'd go with 'em. Or I s'pose....if you were just thinkin' of goin'.

I don't know if I'm gonna go or not...I mean, I've never danced with other people before.

Yeah? I dunno if, um.... It's dead posh, that dance. Dunno if I'd belong, really. I would ask you otherwise, if no-one has, yet.

I don't think I'd fit in too well either...I mean, it's supposed to be fancy and cultured, right? And I'm chubby and ditzy and I ask too many questions and I can't dance without the hair getting in the way...

Oh, Mother said that. She was teasing, but her teasing can be...sort of mean sometimes, I think. I ask her about it and she says I'm being too serious. She's probably right.

Well I don't think you're either of those things. Especially not chubby. If anythin', you're slim.

You really think so? I mean, I know Mother was just teasing, but sometimes her teasing didn't really make sense...

Well, maybe you could talk to Mother if she shows up here. She never listens to me about things...but I'm sure she'd listen to you!
