The 36th Song [Action]
[The lights are low, the curtain is drawn, and Rapunzel is a bit nervous backstage. She loves her job, loves preforming and doing tricks and singing, but she always gets nervous before a show...]
Okay, Rapunzel. You can do this. The crowd loves you, and you love the crowd. You look good, you sound good, you got plenty of rest...you know this routine! You can do this!
[She nods to herself, before twirling some of her hair.]
Okay. Let's go do this. Me and my hair against the world, just the way it should be.
[She grins and goes to take her place on stage behind the curtain, swinging her hair up and forming a swing that she casually lounges in, as the announcer comes over an intercom.]
And now, ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present the one, the only, Rapunzel, the singing, swinging, blonde bombshell!
[The curtain comes up, and Rapunzel peeks out from behind her hair hammock, smiling demurely.]
Mama thinks I'm living in a convent...a secluded little convent in the southern part of France...
Mama doesn't even have an inkling that I'm working. In a nightclub. In a pair of lacy pants...
[She swings out from her hair, beginning her routine, and she continues to sing.]
[ooc: The song our showgirl Rapunzel is singing is 'Don't Tell Mama', from the musical Cabaret.]

Action - after the show!
[Dulcie flounces by in her performance costume (http://www.torrentsland.com/upload/preview/images/music/4/7/6/7e69cb8a7b13c09109bcb767730adfad.jpg). Her batons for her fire juggling act are balanced on one arm. She gives Rapunzel's arm a friendly punch on the arm as she passes.]
Try not to upstage the rest of us too much next time.
Action - after the show!
[She grins at her.]
You really thought I did okay...? I mean, you guys are always so good...
APPARENTLY THIS IS MY TAG WITH REA DAY! /holds
[Dulcie hooks her thumb towards the curtain where the audience can still be heard cheering. She flips one of her batons around and practices a few moves.]
You're been here long enough, darling. You need to start realizing that you're pro at this. Half those guys wanted into your pants tonight. Probably most of the girls, too.
LOL YOU FOOL, THATS EVERY DAY!
Aw, gee, Dulcie...I just get so nervous before shows...
Oh, you were really good too! I don't think I could ever pull off some of those tricks you do...
BUT EVEN MOAR TODAY
I KNOW IT MUST BE A SPECIAL DAY.
[Rapunzel laughs.]
Still, all those fire tricks you pull off...

[Dulcie ruffles a hand through her short hair.]
Doesn't all that hair give you a headache?

[But she says it with a grin and a playful punch, so she's joking.]
