Mister Iroh? I'm really sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to come in to work today...I'm not exactly feeling too well.

I'm really sorry...I just need one day, and then I'll be feeling right as rain, I promise.

[And as Rapunzel turns off the text part of her message, she accidentally turns on the video part, revealing that, no, she's nor right as rain at all. She looks like she's been crying nonstop for the past few days or so, and once she's done with her message, she quietly puts the device down and leans against her door, sniffling.]

...I don't even know why I'm crying. I'm mad, I should be really mad, but I'm crying...I shouldn't be doing that...

[She sniffles some more as Pascal and Ishamel come up to try and comfort her...]

...heh...thanks, you two...I just don't know what to think right now...I mean, what am I going to do with that?

[She gestures over to a plastic cup she's painted gold and covered with big plastic rhinestones. She made you a trophy, Flynn. Just like you wanted.]

...he doesn't deserve it. He lied to me...but he wasn't doing it to be mean...


...maybe mother was right. Maybe I shouldn't have ever left...

After a confused and overwhelmed half hour in the ice cream section of the supermarket (WHAT DO ALL THESE FLAVOURS MEAN), Chris shows up at Rapunzel's flat again with a carton of some sort of chocolatey chocolate explosion of brownie chocolate death cookie crumble bonanza. Or something of that sort. He knocks on the door, and then feels obliged to add, "It's Chris!" called through the door like a password. This is probably him growing as a person. He would have used to AVOID birds when they got like this.

[Rapunzel comes to the door, bunny on one shoulder, chameleon on the other. Her eyes are red and she's still clearly upset, but she smiles a little at Chris.]

[Cameron opens the door and walks in, sitting down at the edge of Rapunzel's bed. She's carrying a large box of ice cream and two spoons, one of which she hands Rapunzel. This might not be the typical situation and they're not the closest, but that doesn't mean Cameron doesn't recognise a girl in need of this particular kind of cheering up.]

I don't want to defend him, especially since he's not only hurt you but also stolen from people. Thing is, he's disappointed you even more now, which could have been avoided if he'd just been honest or not stolen anything in the first place, but men... can be idiots sometimes.
