Okay, I have a question!


Sooo...When I left home to come here, it was my birthday at home. Which was in the summer. But it was winter here...so I guess it wasn't really my birthday here.

But my birthday is this month, so I'm really confused about what I should be doing. Am I turning 18 because it wasn't my birthday when I got here? Or am I turning 19 because it was my birthday at home when I left?

Pascal and I have been talking about this, and we both got confused...so he suggested asking somebody here, because somebody here MUST know what I should be doing.

Time here is very confusing, isn't it? Because...even though my birthday is this month, back home, when I go back, it'll be my birthday again, but not this specific one...

I think I'm giving myself a headache trying to think about this.

Yeah, I don't really get out much. I'm used to people not getting stuff, 'cause, y'know. I play a lot of video games and stuff. Read a lot of genre-heavy books, watch a lot of... obscure TV shows, that kind of thing. [He smiles sheepishly.] If you don't get what I'm saying, ever, it's probably 'cause of that.

I don't think I know what video games are, to be honest with you. I like books though, and...TV is the moving picture box, right? I keep forgetting it's got a name, since we don't have anything like that where I'm from.

Books're good, yeah. And yup, TV's the picture box. Video games are kinda like that, only you get to push buttons and tell the pictures what to do, sorta. I can show you sometime, if you want.
