I wonder if Maximus or any of the people from the Snuggly Duckling are here. I hope so, it's been a while since I've seen them, and it'd be nice to say hello to them!

I wonder if Mother is here...

Oh, and I suppose I should do this today while I'm thinking of it, but my birthday is on Tuesday. And I've decided that I'm going to be throwing a big party, since I've never thrown a birthday party before. There's going to be a lot of food, and games, and music, and I'm going to be doing all of this is Xanadu because it's got a lot of space.

And I need a lot of space because I'm basically inviting everybody! So it's not so much a birthday party as it is a party party. I think. Is that how it works? I don't know.

I guess I'm still working out the details...heh....

Well, I don't know...first off, Mother would be FURIOUS with me. She's spent all this time trying to protect me and my hair, if I just cut it off...well, I don't even want to think how angry she'd be.

Besides, I could still use it to help people, couldn't I?

And...well...She sort of uses my hair sometimes...when she gets exhausted...

Well, I wouldn't trust everybody here. It's a big city. Doesn't hurt to be careful.

True. If I've learned anything on our adventure, it's that people aren't always what they seem, and that living in a paranoid bubble is not exactly a good way to go through life. I wish I'd learned that earlier.

Still, I think I should use my hair to help people. I could volunteer at the hospital, I think I could trust people working there.
