...Everybody is talking strangely...

It's funny. When I was younger, Mother brought me this book of poetry by this English playwright, and it was all about love and life. I think she was trying to teach me something about the world, but I was too young to understand it.

Though, there was this one poem I remember. The man who wrote it sounded like he was insulting this woman he said he loved...I never understood it. He loved her, but kept saying everything that was wrong with her...Mother said that by pointing out her flaws, the man was trying to say that no matter how many things weren't right with her, he loved her anyway. Just like how my mother loved me.

I think I liked that poem, but it's been a long time since I've read it...does anybody know what I'm talking about? It'd be nice to read it again...

Isn't the beginning of a new month great? It just feels like there's so many possibilities and exciting things that can happen!

And it also means I've been here for a month! And you know what? I don't feel homesick at all, even if my Mother isn't here and sometimes things can be scary. I actually really like it here!

And since it's a new month, I want to do a brand new thing I haven't done before!!

I want to go and see one of those...moving picture things. I made a flipbook once when I was younger, so this must be similar, right? I mean, they're both moving pictures...

But I want to go see one! I've heard they're really interesting, a whole different experience than reading a book, or even looking at a flipbook!

...where do I go to see a moving picture? How much money do they cost? What sort of moving pictures are there?

I guess I forgot I needed to know all of that too...hee hee.
